I just bought a Kdx 200 2005 and love it! The previous owner ran super M 2t oil for the premix and bel ray gear saver oil in the trans which is an 80wt oil. The manual says to use 10w40 in the trans. Is the 80wt oil bad for the bike or is it fine in the bike? Any info is greatly appreciated!

Isn't it a 4 stroke oil to and so it doesn't matter if its 80wt? And what are thoughts on the super M?

castor based oils are the best. provided you clean the power valve regularly and mix fresh fuel every time you ride. they have a tendency to separate from fuel. especially in cold weather. and they also gum up top ends more.
