first and foremost let's get something straight. you're not talking to a kid you're not talking to some lame. secondly it's obvious we are talking about bikes. there's a difference between answering a question, joking around, or just saying some stupid shit out your mouth just to talk. I clearly understand anything being said about a bike.i had alot of bikes and 4 wheelers over the years.alot!! I had but my heads do my work on them ,that's a small thing, you shouldn't talk to somebody over the Internet in a way you know you would not talk to them if you were in front of them.I talk to certified techs all the time and never have a problem understanding what there saying. the problem is there's a bunch of backyard mechanics that think they know it all.then crack slick out there mouth when you question what there saying. since ol mighty button pusher can close a discussion why cant u delete an account... nobody wants to have an account they're not using.this forum sucks, there's no real techs here. CR, Alex, maple, Marky, NZ,paul you all are cool people, but this forum flat out sucks, and im not for no internet wars. I don't need no smart comments. just have oh mighty button pusher delete my account. it's that simple right

Haha, at this point, it would be fair to say that discussion is not closed.

Might as well start another 5 threads like this and we'll see if we can get them locked too...   LOL

    First and foremost,

You said the discussion was over.  I closed the discussions so that they don't continue to get brought up.  If the problem is over, why continue talking about it?

Second, I cannot delete your account.  I don't know how.  You will have to ask someone who is an admin on this board…I am only a moderator.

Third, you participate in joking conversations, you're going to get them back.  It's expected.

Fourth, it's the INTERNET!  You expect a bunch of people on here to be factory techs…are you?  No.  You're not.  I'm not.  No one here is.  They try and help, and if they can't, they try and lighten the mood.  Again, I have had conversations with people about keeping things on task and not to joke until the questions are answered.  But, people are individuals and you can only do so much.

Fifth, I am not sure why there is aggression in your posts being closed.  It's in the board's interest to keep controversial conversations to a minimum.  Since your threads were aggressive and demeaning, it was best to close them down.  Since you clearly have a problem with that, I will leave this one open provided it is CONSTRUCTIVE to the message you apparently feel you have to convey.

Lastly, I still cannot delete an account and I still do not know how.  I do not write the software for this site.  If you don't want to participate, then don't.  You're an adult, make decisions like one.  I don't think anyone doesn't want you here…they are just trying to joke around and have fun.  So just sift through it…a lot of people have tried to help you because they want you here.  It's the internet, no reason to get so worked up.

Ok so I will agree with Sean that I'm cool. I also agree this forum sux. I belong to a few an this by far the least informative ,the slowest , and the ratio of cool peeps to asswipes is pretty lopsided in the asswipes favor. You should be able to delete if u want, I disagree that maple is cool. He's a Canadian therefore he could never be cool, its just a rule. But what I want to know is who said what to set u off? If u have a question just pm me. Like sully said its the internet. I had my lil breakdown on here so did coyotekiller, that why he not around, he prolly in the psych Ward somewhere smearing his poo on the wall. You can't let people get to you. . If they do just pm them the raunchiest insults that u can come up with and you'll feel better. Either that or just spit out sum random vulgar stuff repeatedly an you'll get banned eventually.

I agree Court....seems like it's just a couple of whiners and trolls so my best guess is ignore them and they'll go away?

If nothing else it's a little bit of comic relief....I mean...if they act like this on an internet forum can you imagine what their reality must be like?

Come off it Hair, there's only a couple  of people getting their knickers in a twist, the rest of us are just having a laugh.

Can't everyone see this for what it is?  I thought we came here to talk bikes and have fun?  That's what it is for me, that's why us regulars are still kicking around.

To be fair, if people wanna put up loopy threads, they really can't grizzle when the smart-arses (and I include my self in that group) take the piss out of it.  That's how life works.

I know man,I just have a bad attitude never personal. I'm hyper I cant sit still I get anxious, I get annoyed , I get excited, then I snap then I'm happy again.,,,,,,,, ain't nothin waiting on my chain so I can ride, what will make my bikes sway? how was riding up the road earlier when I hit like 65 or 70 the bars swayed on me.hard tire pressures at 15

Because it's set up to turn real fast, you sacrifice a little stability.  A lot of MX bikes get a little twitchy at high speed.  Just gotta try and control it.  A good riding position would probably prevent it.

the spokes are steel, the nipples are aluminium. they're fine, they just needed to be checked and tightened every ride for the first few hours of riding. because you neglected to do this, even though its probably outlined in your owners manual, the spoke nipples, rim and hub now have alot of wear in them. now you'll need to do alot more adjusting over the next few hours of riding to get them to settle.

I'm wondering if everything you're finding "loose" is actually properly torqued and you're just cranking it all up way too tight by hand with really no idea what proper torques values for the given bolts actually feel like.

In my experience people way over torque all the little 6mm bolts on dirtbikes and then severely under torque the big stuff like axle bolts and swingarm pivot bolt. I recommend buying or borrowing a torque wrench and looking up the settings for different bolts then getting a feel for how tight they're actually supposed to be.

as for head shake at high speed, I agree somewhat with Nick about MX bikes being unstable due to their sharp turning frame geometry but some things can be done about it. such as what is your current rear shock sag set at? have you tuned it to the recommended height as outlined in your owners manual. if you have then i recommend setting the sag to the highest end of the scale suggested by honda to give you maximum stability. Also steering head shake is quite often made worse by death dripping that bars, try to relax a bike more on the bike.

I have a torque wrench, the handlebars was loose, the end gaps on forks was laying on axle bolts, the triple was loose, all the clamps on the radiators hose was loose, swingarm was at about 40 lbs.i have torque wrench for air compressor.and a regular torque wrench.im done with all of this though I ripped the bike apart and did a bolt check and greased all that was needed.I need a 2 lb to a 20 lb torque wrench.I cant find any im slowly buying all that's needed. I think your right I think I went way to tight on spokes.I have not messed with suspension yet.I was waiting intill broke in then adjust.the manual says its set for 200 lbs so it works for me,I cant keep up with this manual. it's a competition only manual replace fork oil every 3 races it says and damping, oil every 9 races

I take HUGE offense to that comment about the "female mind"... We like to feel in charge? Excuse me, but I'm not an inferior species. I'm quite educated and most certainly not under any illusions of control.

For the 100th time, your threads were locked because of the aggressive nature. The conversations were over so we shut them down and move forward. I left this one open for the sole reason of trying to appease you in hope that you saw that this place isn't "the worst forum in the internet".

I wouldn't have to babysit if we all played by the rules, now would I? It's my job here to enforce rules and keep peace.

I've done nothing but try to answer your questions and fix the things that upset you here... I'd appreciate the same respect.

On a different note, if your spokes are bent, replace them. Bent spokes will throw your wheels out of being true and will cause vibration and shaking. Motocross bikes are not designed to be stable at high speeds... They are twitchy and very sensitive to any movements. A steering damper will alleviate some of this, provide everything else is in spec (wheel bearings, steering head bearings, forks are the same height in he clamps and same offset, etc).

so you havent set your suspension cos you're breaking it in. you say you;ve done over 20 hours, and the manual says to replace oil in forks every 3 hours. when do you think it'll be broken in enough to tune it for yourself?

Csully its no disrespect to u at all.your taking it wrong.the female mind is different than ours.that's ..............my manual is for competition only,I dont race I just ride so I figured I could stretch the length of some of the times. replacing Fork oil every 3 races is for mx competition only.i thought about evry 40 hours will be good.I do need to set suspension up for me the rear feels a bit stiff.NZ after you send something about the SAG and the swaying I read the suspension chapter in manual. you wouldn't exactly right, ill do my suspension when I get my chain so I can ride. my manual is kinda hard to understand with some things.stuff like changing my fuel line after every race.and plug I just think its crazy.if I try to keep up with my manual ill have to make a loan. I was figuring if I keep up with valves timing oil both filters and keep everything greased ill be ok.
