so i redid the seals on my forks this winter, and they where great for a while but have recently both started leaking again, and when i opened them up there was bits of rubber in the fork fluid and on the inside of the fork. evedentially this came from the seals, so something is rubbing and/or scraping the rubber of the fork seals and dust seals causing them to leak. anyone know what might be happening??. any help would be awesome, thanks tobias[

Check your fork tubes for scratches.  Also it could be possible that a tiny stick or something got stuck in between your tubes and seals.

Sounds like you have some burs on the inner fork tubes where the seals actually sit and slide. Dissassemble the tubes again and take a razor blade and lightly run it up and down the tubes to check for burs or dents, etc. The possibility that you allowed dirt and debris to enter the area on rebuild is not uncommon either. How old is the bike and why do the refit? Was the forks leaking or weeping that caused you to rebuild them?
