Ok im green with brakes so bare with me, I bent up the bolt that gos into the master cylinder for real brake connected to the rear brake foot lever,I orderd all new parts for it but the shop called me and said they're on back order for 4 weeks I cannot wait that long so I bent everything back, well after I got it working there was no pressure on rear brake lever,I pulled rear brake line off near the rear tire and pushed rear brake lever down with my hand it shot brake fluid out, so nothing is clogged,so then I pulled reservoir cap off and dumped dot 3 brake fluid in it that I had for my truck, still same results nothing appears to be leaking or broken, I'm reading the manual now but nothing is in it for this other then it sayings only use dot 4 and do not mix other brake fluid.so I guesz I have to drain it all and buy some pro honda dot4 brake fluid in refill, but why is this happening, why is there no pressure in rear brakes and how can I fix it

You need to bleed the system.

They sell a bleeder bottle with a clear hose at advanced auto for like 5$. That where I got mine, works great. If u bleed exactly as shown in video you can't go wrong.

O the hose that came on bleeder tool I bought was a lil small so I just heated it for a few seconds an forced it on the nipple.

Your not supposed to disconnect brake line. Just use the bleeder valve

I watched a video, they said keep pressure on rear brake. so the air bubbles will be pushed up or float up, I did my old truck 1 time,it was more less just pumping break, well on a bike I'll pumpin pumpin pump n nothing no pressure

Here goes .... with clear hose on bleeder bolt and wrench. Open bleeder, push pedal down. Close bleeder, release pedal. Repeat. Do this until no air bubbles in clear hose. Don't forget to have lid off reservoir and add to it every couple mins. This not that hard.

The BS about tying pedal down over night and bleeding itself....well I don't know if it works. If u do it like I said should work 100% of the time. I can bleed brake line in 15 min tops an that includes time to find the tools ect.

Glad u got it. I know it a pita but after u get the process its nothing. As far as the wedged piece.... I'd spray sum wd40 in there and hit the bar with a rubber hammer to try to knock it loose. Not like swinging for the fences but just enough to vibrate the bar.

Its pretty wedged,I took a long screwdriver and tapped it in with a hammer and it did not break loose the screwdriver went into it
