Do you have a fair amount of money to spend on repairs and also have good mechanical ability? If you answered yes to both, then buy either. If not, get the YZ125 as they are cheaper and easier to work on, as a general rule.

125 is as big as they get If you're too big for that then you're too big for anything. i'd stick with 125 you'll learn riding skills on a 125 that people on bigger bikes never seem to pick up

Yep. NZ is talking frame and such, not engine.

Ok marky and bleedmarshall,I was just wondering,a 125 is a fun bike there light easyer to man handle, but I think after riding for few months you will want more power, that how I am,, always been on my bikes,im going to be buying 125 soon 2 stroke for my play bike and for my girl to ride, she rides my daughters 80 so I figured id get her one ,grown men race 50,s to just funning I was thinking of boring the crf50 out I have just to play with ,or selling it. my daughter grew out of that quick.

under power is a disappointment, overpower takes getting used to

under power teaches you to ride better to be fast. over power makes you ride slower to try to stay in control. true story!
