Search the Dirt Rider Forums:how do u find out the year on a ttr 125?

So many of you are wondering why I dont know the year of this bike.. well heres the story, I finally bought a house, 3 bd 2 bath with a 30x30 shop and a 10x20 shed out back, the shed had a lock on it and they didnt have a key when I looked at the house, anyways i finally got the keys to my new home and figured out a way into the shed, (the lock was impossible to cut) so the shed was filled with all kinds of junk, mostly trash except in the back i found this ttr 125 dirt bike! huge score! the exact bike i was lookin to buy my girlfriend! it looks shitty but i got it running, stuck in 1st gear and need to replace plastics but at least its running. where can i find the year for this bike? it looks like a 2001 or somewhere near? someone help so i can buy some parts for this bike! i have pics but dont know how to post em on this

Lucky you. There should be vin# on it. Google the vin, or sumthin like Yamaha vin identifier.

There's 05 in your vin then

no thats wat i dont get the only numbers together dont make sense. 150009109. but i did 3 different searches and they all came up the same.. 2005 yamaha ttr 125L
