The link below will give you parts, but due to its age I believe you may have trouble finding some parts...or not. Can you post up a pic of the cylinder and numbers? Maybe tell us the number? I have not looked at a 490 in years, so I would hate to try and guess.

I'll try that. I'll have to clean it up a bit. Bought it for $300 to find they did some very custom welding on the bike and engine.Alley89yz490

Ewww! "Custom" welding can be a bad thing at times. What did they weld on the engine...and frame?--------------------
