Sucking in water what to do

    Okay so i went alittle deep okay really deep in a puddle and sucked water into my cr125 i turned it upside down and kicked out the water and it wouldnt start thinking the plug was shot so i get towed outa the woods while being towed cause it sucks i figured why not try a dropping it into gear and what do you know she turned over and ran but now that im home i cleaned the air filter and such i have the same plug waiting on new ones sold out at my store it wont start it also feels like i lost compretion is that posible that i blew her up?

    I would drain the oil and take all your covers off. When was the last time you replaced the ring/top end?

    december 21st had the entire engine rebuilt...
    well thats when i got it back

    The clutch, alternator, power valve and drain the carb bowl. I'd make sure you got all the water out of the pipe and silencer too.

    You probably did lose compression, pour just a cap full of motor oil or kerosene where the spark plug goes and wait about an hour or 2 before you start. If it starts, it will blow black smoke before it burns all the oil. Make sure you oil doesnt look milky that means there is water in it, if it is drain your oil a couple times with new oil until the oil looks normal. That should work!

    so a combo of these things should get me back up and running? do you think the compretion is anything to worry about?

    A bike definitely cant run without compression.

    it has some compretion but not as much as when i got it back from the rebuild i guess what im trying to say is did i really eff it up and is it back to the shop or just clear out the water new plugs and oil and hope for the best?
