No second gear on my 05 CRF250R

    Hey, I just did a rebuild on my 05 crf250r and I lost second gear when I went for my test run, any ideas on what happened? Shirt forks not on the shirt drum? No aligned?

    yea, have every gear cept 2nd

    Sorry, but sounds like its time to split the cases again. Check the "dogs" on the gears, making sure they face in the right direction and engage properly. Also make sure the shift drum and shift forks engage properly.

    Im taking it that you rebuilt the bottom end? Little late to hop on the bandwagon but yup try to re-assemble your tranny and check it and compare with the manual until your eyes bleed, splitting the cases all the time can be a pain in the ass

    2nd gear got flipped around. on the shaft. easy 2 do as its the last 1 on the shaft.  I kno this thread is get old, but wth. KOBY STFU!
