I bought the bike used (obviously) and rode it for 3 hours. The bike then began to bog down and die, but I was going so fast that I just pulled in the clutch, down shifted and let the clutch out and it started itself. That happened to me 3 times within 5 minutes, Finally the 3rd time it happened the bike would not start again. I took it to one of my friends to see what he thought, We took apart the top end to see if it was the rings or piston. It in fact was a blown head gasket, I bought a whole new gasket kit for the bike, Replaced the the old medal/aluminum one's on the cylinder and head with new medal/aluminum ones. After that I drained the motor oil and radiator, Put new oil in the motor and fluid in the radiator. Completely cleaned the carburetor out from bottom to end, And finally got a new BR9EG spark plug, Also checked the reeds and they seemed fine.

EDIT: I'm also getting Spark, fuel and compression.

After doing ALL of that the bike will not start. It won't even try to, I pulled it behind a car at 30 mph with starter fluid sprayed in the carburetor and it still didn't even try to start.

Any ideas?? I haven't been able to ride my bike in over 2 months now, And only rode it for 3 hours. ):

You need to find out if you have spark, fuel and compression.

do a compression check, I bet it's low. You still might have to do a full top end and maybe lap your head and cylinder.

Check compression you should have around 100 psi, clean the jets make sure they are not clogged, check the air filter and intake track, making sure they are not not clogged as well.  Also you should have a fresh batch of fuel.
  • My cr250 did this it wouldn't start at all it was the coil, check your coil and your wire over.

How are your reeds? If those are good, I would then check your spark, as in if it is strong enough, and do a bore and taper on it to see the condition of your cylinder. If you have a strong spark, and your cylinder is still in good shape/spec. including a ring gap, then I would check for air leaks in your air box. If that is not the case, then a compression test is in order. You should have around 120-130 psi (if my math is correct) on a good compression check.
