As it turns out i had co2 poisoning. i was put in the hospital last thursday just in time and almost didn't see Christmas. Anyway they got my lungs working again, i have COPD, and pulled me through. I got out of the hospital yesterday. i am still recovering so i will write more later. thanks for tolerating the scene i made. it was one wild ride.

i dont really know what copd is but if it deals with the lungs it sounds serious. hope you get better soon.

Thanks Jake, copd is a permanent condition that i have from smoking things that i shouldn't have and i have to use oxygen. i am sure you've seen old people with oxygen tanks. I have to carry an oxygen tank in a backpack when i ride now. but my health should greatly improve from what it has been because the doctor said i have actually had co2 poisoning for several months and it just reached critical levels recently.

Where did the CO2 poisoning come from tho? I've heard of emphesyma and lung cancer from smoking (anything), but never CO2 poisoning.

my COPD is emphesyma or however those two words are related. i had lost a lot of lung volume and my lungs had quit pumping good enough to get rid of the co2. in the hospital they restored my lung volume as much as was possible with a breathing machine and medications.

i see. hope you get better, and heck caryying around oxegen might make you stronger. some of those tanks are heavy.

i use special small size tanks when i ride. i am not limited by the fuel tank now but by my oxygen tank which lasts a little over an hour. then i have to switch tanks. i keep several tanks around so i never run out.

you smoked cigarettes? and how long? I smoked for 15 years and noticed i started to lose my volume. It turned out that I got asthma and if i didnt quit, i would eventually slip into copd. I quit smoking and my oxygen saturation went back up to 96. I still have to use inhaler once a day.

It sucks but cigarettes are bad for you. Dont mean to preach but.

I smoked cigarettes and then switched to a pipe. I have smoked since I was 16 and I quit when I went in the hospital this time. The doc said he barely pulled me through this time and if I didn't quit I would be dead soon.

Thanks be to God though because the Lord sent an old buddy of mine to see me in the hospital and he smoked vapor. I borrowed one of his vaporizers one night because i was almost out of e-cigarettes and i love it. its better than smoking tobacco by far. i got $200 off of my atm and sent my buddy down to the vapor shop the next day. I smoke chocolate now. sounds illegal doesn't it? LOL!!!! The vaporizer that I bought is about the size of a cigar and it looks sort of like a small light saber from star wars. it looks pretty cool I think. its quality stainless steel thats constructed like some quality tool.

i would like to apologize for all of the chaos i caused. the thought of harming anybody never entered my mind despite whatever poor topic choice may have appeared. my mind is almost 100% now and still improving after the co2 poisoning.

uhhhh i think i quit smoking as of now.... sorry for the bad luck but i respect that you didnt let that come between you and your bike man.

thanks guys. the part that bugs me is that i honestly just made a poor topic choice and i never dreamed what i had written could be taken that way and it was'nt just my co2 poisoning because i had my Mom read that thread and she couldn't find anything threatening in what i wrote either. it was just the top news story for several days so i thought it would make a good post, at least to my co2 poisoned mind.

i am amazed how a medical condition that almost killed me made such a circus out of my life and i am still trying to get things patched up. If everyone would please realize that co2 poisoning causes massive problems with a person's brain it would help a lot. if y'all doubt that i had co2 poisoning i will arrange to post some document from the hospital.

i should have pointed this out first but my co2 poisoned brain didn't think of it. i am a devout Catholic and to accuse me of making any threat, especially one like that is insulting and absurd. i simply made a dumb topic selection and that is the truth and it will remain such until the Final Judgement of God.
