By the time I get on here again it will be Xmas day down here in NZ and the kids will be going ballistic.  We've just spent the evening wrapping the last few pressies and getting everything set up for tomorrow.

I had to sneak the KLX back here under the cover of darkness.

I softened the suspension and slid the forks up through the triple clamps to give our daughter a better chance of managing it...

Then I put inside.  I haven't had a bike in my living roon since I've been married...   LOLimage

Before you laugh at our piddly little Xmas tree, we have a 16 month old baby who would happily destroy anything decent so we just have a tiny one this year...   We got a little trike for her too, the contrast amuses me somewhat...  LOLimage

Haha, she didn't know what to say.  She just stood there and looked at it for a bit.   She was impressed though.

She had no idea Chud, I kept it at the inlaws for a couple of weeks.  Funnily enough though, everyone's been asking what she wants for Xmas and straight away she comes out with "a bigger motorbike".   Her DRZ70 has been way to small for a while now.

  • You guys are lucky! We have a long standing rule against giving adult gifts unless it's something small and homemade, but I don't really mind that much.  Like Rocky, I had a most excellent dinnner with some great company.

Looking forward to some pics and vid Kiwi! :)

Hope everyone had a great X-mas, i sure did! Couldnt ask for better company than my brother, his boy friend, grand parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.... Huge prime rib dinner with all the extras like gullivers corn, mashed potatoes, etc... I was very fortunate this year, i told my parents and my grand parents i really didnt need anything this year, just because i have a good job and if i need something i would just go an buy it myself. anyways they didnt listen My parents got me the new BILT modular street bike helmet, it does everything. I also got pro Taper bars for my TW that are a taller bend. My grandparents got me some clthes and i got a few gift cards from my aunts/uncles. Overall it was a great day, and i was really happy to give my brother and parents their gifts.

I'll work on some pics.  Vids will be problematic as i have issues with youtube...    LOL

I like the no pressies for adults rule Hair, there's merit in that idea.

We had a big BBQ Xmas dinner at the wife's brothers place which was cool.  I ate far too much, as usual...  LOL

Good to hear that everyone else had a good Xmas.

i was sick a couple days before Christmas, but got better. i took the exhaust off the bike, and then read the directions, just to be sure, and it said to put high temperature silicone on the female end of the exhaust. so the instillation had to wait, but now i have the silicone and tomarow we are going to see my uncle so i will not be able to put it on for a while.

  • Howdy all! I had a great Christmas as per usual..and finally, just now is everything calm and almost back together! Just a few things that I want to post would be the LCD BacPac and Battery Bacpac, as well as some mounts for my GoPro! WOOT!, Some misc. bike parts, 150$ cash, 50$ gift card to a local auto parts/everything store(Canadian Tire), 2 books on the Navy Seals(one being the Auto-Bio of Christ Kyle), A nice Stanley Tool Chest for my bedroom. Perfect size! Then the usual clothes and what not..most being from New York City, as my mom was just there! Oh, and I got a Honda Racing/Muscle Milk/TLD/New Era hat! Sweet stuff as well.

Glad to see everyone had a great time. I enjoyed giving the gifts more this year then I have in the past. We gave my Dad the Hi-Lift Extreme Jack for the Hummer, to go with that I gave him a choice of some accessories from their website! Hes going with the roof rack mounts. I gave my bro a choice of a few things for his truck all bought and installed by me in the Summer, and gave my mom the New ACDC CD and DVD 'Live @ River Plate'.. She loves ACDC. :)

Now, to get to work on that 250..
