    As I recall, it depends on the model of CR you have.

    Ya putting headlight on mx bike the light isn't usually the issue. Most likely you'll need a aftermarket stator BC the stock one don't put out enough power to push a headlight and you'll need a regulator/ rectifier to keep power to the light constant. Otherwise the light will dim at low rpm and could explode are high Rpms. I looked into it, whole deal gona cost in the area of 500$. Unless u can find some used parts off a similar bike whose parts are compatible. I.e. in my situation a Yz250f and a wr250 some parts interchangeable.
  • Crap thatd be crazy expensive! Would it be easier on a crf450?

    depends on the year. i think the pre 2009 crf450rs might fit crf450x stator and flywheel for lighting purposes. I suspect the newer generation crf450r engines wouldnt fit the enduro models flywheel and stator
