Kdx200 to kx250 forks
  • Hey i have someone wanting to buy my 1990 kx250 forks for a fork swap onto his 2000 kdx200 can it be done? What modifications if any are needed? Thanks.

    im 90% sure the KDX from 95 up has conventional forks so yours wont fit the clamps. you'll need the KX triple clamps to match and then probably the wheel and axle and brake.

  • The triple trees are included in the sale and i do have the wheel and brake that i can sell separately, so with all that you think it can be done fairly easily? Thanks.

    it depends on steering head length on the 2 frames and bearing size. its definatly doable but it'l be just guess work aout how much fabrication is required
