What to wear when riding on trails?
  • Sorry if theres already a post about this, im kinda new to this site. Anyways, im getting a CRF150R in a little bit and I was wondering what type of gear I should wear. Im just gonna be riding on trails through the woods, nothing too aggressive. Do i need a chest prottector, jersey, knee pads, etc. and all that? Or would I be fine with some work boots, jeans and a long sleeve shirt? And of course a helmet.

Always wear full gear.  Doesn't matter trails or track, a crash is a crash….and quite honestly, trees and rocks are a better reason to have more protection on…they're hard! haha

  • Whats said above is really true do not compromise on safety no matter where and in what condition you are riding. Its always good to have proper precaution then being sorry later.

There really for street bike riding. I love them tho will never buy different brand /model as long as they keep making them. Part of the reason I prefer them is because I've shredded a standard pair of mx glove in a wreck and ripped my fingers open real bad. Can't beat titanium an leather

What's the joke? I figure most people want a pair of boots that are damn near indestructible, do you not value ur hands equally as ur feet? I know the icon timax gloves run bout 200$ but that small price to pay even if they save you from one trip to the er.
