Pro Circuit T-4 complete exhaust system for 2008 CRF230F
  • I tried a similar bike to mine with one installed already but didn't feel any power gains. I thought it was due to unprofessional installation and no jetting configurations. How hard is it to install one properly and does it really improve the power band with a forest approved silencer? I'm not looking to install it for racing. I'm looking for a little bit more power on the trails, especially on 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. I'm trying to do as much research as possible before I spend $260 + s&h. I know you will say get a 250X but I like my bike low to the ground for nasty rocky trails and I'm not doing jumps higher than 3 feet so I don't care about suspension for now. The only upgrade i have so far is bigger sprocket on the back for better low end torque.

    I think these topics are getting annoying
    what I'm really curious about is if I'm going to do my jetting say 120 for main and 45 for pilot with special needle, take my snorkle out, and my buffle out will I have serious issues with my bike soon? In other words will it make my bike a lot less dependable? I understand it will not zip gas like before but other than that?
