Hey guys, ive never had to have a license plate on my bike. Gonna be riding on state land so i have to put a plate on. Whats the best way to mount it, ive never really paid attention to how others have mounted them. Its on a 02 YZ125

    Thanks!

I thought bout that but figured the plate would need to be shown in the rear?
  • Get a piece of heavy plastic or light metal that's at a 45 degree angle, then mount your license plate on one end, and mount the other end to your rear fender.

Well I just suggested that because anybike I see around me has the license plate mounted to the front number plate

  • Here is what we do in order to not mess up our real plate. This option would be better for mounting also because it doen't have sharp edges, and is lighter.

  • Where i live plates are valid on offroad-anything as long as they are somewhere on the machine, and most people either zip tie them to the side number plate or to the front # plate which I find to be the best.

And by anywhere i mean anywhere, some quadders I know have them under the front mud guard which is still valid
