big wheel 150r is my vote

you're pretty short for a 250f and light enough that the 150r will still haul you around pretty quickly

it depends on your skill level too. if you are confident in your skill you will probably be able to ride a 250f.

  • I have been thinking that but have been apprehensive about it kinda afraid that it is too much power. I mean I like have enough power to just roll into the throttle and pull a wheelie! But I don't wanna get a bike that I just can't control. :o

it sounds like you are stuck between a rock and a hard place because if you get the bi wheel 150 you might have a year or two left on it but the 250 will be a little big but you will grow into it.

  • I am 14 and obviously I don't have a job so used. I have a friend that has a yz250f anniversary edition. So I may get the chance to ride his. He is so fortunate his parent's are so rich so he gets all his stuff new. :(

  • I am new and when you say 125 2t do you mean a 2 stroke?

yes 2t means 2 stroke. if you can ride your friends 250 to see if you like it that would be great. because then you will now if you like it hate it or are in between. a 125 2 stroke has almost the same top speed ( about 3-5 mph slower. 125 2 strokes do not have as much low end torque as 250f's and low end torque is what causes wheelies (most of the tome.) a 125's powerband will be in or around the mid.

  • At our second house we have 1500 acres and that friend's dad is letting us borrow his 125 2 stroke and my 150r could out run it. But I can sit on it about half way on my feet. And looking at the specs the 250 is a little shorter than a 125 is that true?

yeah 125's are acctully really tall. my kx 125 was taller than my dads 450. so if you can touch on a 125 you will be good on a 250.
