Trying to find a lighting and ignition stator for cr125 2003

    I think I read once in the pages of Dirt Rider Mag. was a battery headlight. This might be what your looking for.

    Does anyone know if you can get a lighting and ignition stator motor for a cr125 2003 as I want to add lights. Apparently the coils are way too small to wind and there are only 4 poles.
    Places list them but you can't buy them.
    Has anyone got one on their bike.

    they do make a stator so you can add a headlight i just forgot who sells it but its 145 buck

    Electrex World makes a 4 pole stator for 2002-2003 cr125, I'm trying to figure out if this will work on a 2005.

    Use a battery powered light.  I have been looking for one for a cr250 for years.  I have a 50 watt stator but it will not support a battery.  They use to make an exterior stator but no longer.
    Lessie and the DR crew ran a battery powered light at the 24 hr in 09 and it worked great.  I think it cost over $300 though
