hahahahaha i thought it was funny. :D and no probCR.Sizzlebump, thanks Alex btw! Love the sig!

hahahaha, Got the carb all cleaned out now, I'll put it on tomorrow night after I get home from work and see what happens with that. I'm not 100% sure the idle speed is set correctly on my bike because it was the knob that you twist to adjust and I guess it is possible it is on one extreme of the spectrum. Got the whole weekend after Saturday morning SAT to get this thing figured out, I'll grab a new plug while I'm out just to be safe. Thanks!2006honda150if not the carb, ide try the plugs. or i bet you could smoke some pot and it may come to you magically. Jkin :D
Any chance you know how to reset to medium, because I have absolutely no clue where it is in relation to medium, haha, Thanks again!2006honda150mines set at a eight turn over medium, shoot up to a quarter and you can get some good prformace before a race.
you're gonna need to be more specific. where is the medium? and how does adjust the idle screw 1/8th of a turn increase performance?2006honda150mines set at a eight turn over medium, shoot up to a quarter and you can get some good prformace before a race.
Refresh our memory; what bike do you have (make, model, year)?CR.SizzleJust got done with the top-end rebuild and the bike hasn't been ridden since September of last year. I kick it and it kind of coughs so I really don't know whats up. I'm going to go ahead and clean out the carb, any other suggestions? Thanks

and the other half? how does adjusting the idle screw increase performance?2006honda150the medium is when you put the bike in nutral and it is idoling low but steady
A lot of 4-stroke riders actually run higher idle speeds for 2 reasons.2006honda150the medium is when you put the bike in nutral and it is idoling low but steady

The bike was running fine last September. Its a 2000 Honda CR125. Didn't know to drain the tank and carb so I didn't.DLHamblinRefresh our memory; what bike do you have (make, model, year)?CR.SizzleJust got done with the top-end rebuild and the bike hasn't been ridden since September of last year. Was it running ok last September before it was put away? Did you drain the tank and carb (or put Sta-Bil in it) before storing?
Did you try a new plug?
If u change ur tire tube valve caps to either the fuzzy dice or the eyeball thats at least a 3hp power increase. :)NZriderno he didnt. DL said why you might set your idle high. thats not a performance increase.
Got the carb all cleaned up, and I replaced the rings as well as the piston head, needlebearing, circlips, gaskets, etc. Going to mix up some new gas this weekend and see if that doesn't do it. :Dhondarider155try cleaning the carb like you said maybe you fouled a plug or something also did you happen to check or change the rings when you replaced the top end.
