hellamicits a four stroke you should not be mixing the gas with oil. if thats what you meant craig. when you bought it did you do any checks on it like oil level, air filter and gaskets? I also heard that the thing is suffocated and you might want to find a way to let it breath more.
kbaird83get a manual and it will give you the stock mixture settings and tell you how to adjust it. and yes you can inject more or less oil depending on where you have it set at. what spark plug are you running in the bike and what kind of oil do you use?
alex18327ok... is this thing a two or a four? bikez.com says both on the same page. at the top it says "And with its responsive 80cc 2-stroke engine, plush suspension and racy styling, your kids will never want to leave home without the PW80!" then in the specs it says "Displacement: 79.00 ccm (4.82 cubic inches) Engine type: Single cylinder Stroke: 4"i still say 2 or 4 stroke... a lot of smoke means too much oil.
hellamicWhen people start to call you an idiot, they are going to catch flak. Ther eis no needfor it DL. I showed him where I got my info from and it was an honest mistake. I also never made guesses, I simply asked if he had thoroughly went throught the bike and checked oil, air and also check for leaks. simple procedures. THat bike is really restricted when it comes to air flow so I also suggested that he check that as well. ther ewas no need to call me an idiot or be a rude to anyone else. I am sure craig has had some false info somewhere else.
