How tall do you need to be to ride a 125

    hey im thinking of a KTM
    they r ment to hav da best motors but ifits between a yamaha and a KTM same yr n same model ill hav to go da yamy

    Hi
    I am woundering how tall you would have to be to be able to touch the ground (with one foot) on a 125cc. I'm not sure if I should wait until I can touch the ground with both feet because I am mainly riding in the bush and through tough areas.

    I'm 5'5 and can tippy-toe on one foot when I ride my yz125. It just takes some getting used to

    with one foot? you could be really short, but just have the bike tipped way over. doesn't make sense. i'm not even sure if you should be on a 125!

    Depends, I'm a bit over 5'5". Since all modern MX bikes have about 37" seat heights or better; you just get used to it.

    There are a number of threads on this subject; you can also shave the seat foam a bit, get a lowered rear sub frame, or have the suspension lowered by a good suspension shop.

    hey yea well im 6'4" and i can just touch the ground both feet on my YZ125
    YZ125's are the best bike
    woooh hooo yamaha all the way
    but yea i think the hond is at 94 cm high and i think that isthe lowest

    hey chris you just wish you were 6'4 and as tall as me..... KTM is the best......... hey im gunna get a KTM instead of a honda but if i cant find a gewd KTM i will just get a honda

    i still hav like a yr and a half to 2 yrs till i get a 125
    but once the CR80 is too small for me the 125 will still be too big for me
    so i mite have to get a CR80 big wheel

    well im 15 and have a 2001 cr80 and im 5ft10 it fits perfect and i am crossed between a honda or kawasaki there both great makes. but i havent road any other makes.

    well im 5 ft and my 95 cr80 fits good so i dont know about u cause if i was 5'10" i would get a 125
    so it amazes me that it fits u perfectly

    Hey Chris I'm Growing :)
    I'm nearly ready for i 125 (KTM) I am about 5'3.
    I found that out by measuring it and then gowing on to google and typing in cm to feet and then measure yourself with a tape measure and then type it in and it will tell you how tall u r???? :cool.
    I'm about 5'3 and my CR 80 BW Fits sik?? :D

    i have a 2002 cr80 and i am 5 10 and it doesnt fit perfect. sitting with your knees as high as the handlebars isnt perfect. if you can stand up off the bike then you are too tall for it. perfect is just touching the ground flat footed with one foot. try sitting on a 125. its way better.

    if im 5ft and my CR80 fits me perfect than a 5'10" will be miles unconfortable

    Dude I'm 13 and I'm 5'1 weigh 110 pounds and I ride a lowered 125 with the seat cut... So don't be scared if it's too big. I have to lean on 1 side so I can touch the ground. It'sa good size cos I can go really big on the jumps and keep up with everyone.
