you probably need to replace the coil
as for the carb skip will need the altitude that you live at also you may need to find out what jets are in your carb right now skip made a good post on adjusting 2 stroke carbs that is sticky
i just am having a hell of a time finding it
if anyone can find it please pin it up on this thread

before you go buy coils or anything test the line. start with the stator and work your way to the spark plug. what is wrong with the carb and how did you test for spark

I tested the spark by unscrewing the plug and keeping it still on the wire and kicking the kick starter and looking for a spark.

Also how would I test the line?

test the spark by unscrewing it out of the head. keep it plugged into the cap. have the spark plug touch the head. and kick it. you should see a solid blue spark under the gap. white and yellow sparks are weak. you have to make sure it is touching the head.

Amazingly enough - this was one of the few Honda CR's that had great jetting right off the floor! You should run the stock jetting and use 32:1 premix ratio. As for your spark... I'm thinking coil as well.

but how much should I turn the gas and air screws on the carb?

There is only the air screw. Start at 2 turns out and adjust it in/out 1/4 turn at a time until you get crisp throttle response (when fully warmed up).

Yup, def the place to be! Very glad I've found this place... However from the last thread I posted I had Chud doing a Skip says response on my reed valves!

And Vadim, I'm assuming you have the original exhaust cause most of the after market exhausts require different jet sizes.

I eased my 2002 cr 125 yesterday and I left it for about an hour and went to start it, it started for a half a minute and after it wouldn't start so I change the plug still nothing so I took it out to check for spark and there's nothing but if I kick it over a few times it will spark once and then a few more times once again please help!!! The bike ran perfect that day intill I washed it

Before you go crazy with the coil, check the kill switch and the sparkplug cap. Make sure there is contact between the plug and the wire in the plug cap.
